Laser Scanning Project

Industrial Ally recently completed a large laser scanning project for a client in the southeast. Within one month of award, we delivered a comprehensive “point cloud” of existing conditions from the nearly 300 scans performed, consisting over 3-billion scan points of various areas within their cement plant. The point cloud was aligned to an existing world coordinate system and will allow the client to more effectively consider and design future upgrades within their existing plant by providing them detailed and accurate data representing existing conditions.  This, in turn, will dramatically increase the predictability of correct existing to new interface points and eliminate costly “surprises” during project installations.
